Founder · Software Engineer in Training · Mastercard Scholar
I build tools that give young Africans back what shortcuts take away — real skills, real language access, real support that doesn’t stop halfway. Founder of AfriVid Studio and Jua Institute. Co-founder of Young Africans Network, now active in 25 countries.
I am Regan Odhiambo Ayiecho — a Mastercard Foundation Scholar at the African Leadership University, Kigali, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering. I co-founded Young Africans Network, a pan-African platform now active across 25 countries, built entirely from zero budget on GitHub Pages and Firebase.
Today I’m also the founder of AfriVid Studio, an AI video platform giving African creators native-language video tools, and Jua Institute, an AI learning platform helping students recover real skills AI shortcuts left behind. I believe Africa should own its digital infrastructure — its tools, its languages, its learning systems — not just consume them.
Africa’s AI video platform. Type a topic, get a complete video — script, native-language voice narration in Swahili, Yoruba, Hausa, Arabic, French, and Portuguese, visuals, and editing — solving the fragmented workflow and language exclusion that leave African creators and businesses underserved by global tools.
